ITMS at the ESA World Emission stakeholder workshop in Paris
On 30 January 2025, the "World Emission" Project of the European Space Agency (ESA) hosted its fourth stakeholder workshop in Paris.
On 30 January 2025, the "World Emission" Project of the European Space Agency (ESA) hosted its fourth stakeholder workshop in Paris.
The ITMS project was represented by Christian Mielke (UBA) and Beatrice Ellerhoff (DWD). In their presentation, they discussed the requirements for satellite-based emission estimates, showed the latest results of ITMS in the inversion of greenhouse gas fluxes and highlighted synergies between the two projects. The workshop was a successful exchange between experts from all over Europe, which deepened the understanding between inventory and modelling and thus supports the creation of useful data products for emissions verification.
